Through My Lens: Mets Spring Training (2/27/26)

Some of my favorite shots from day at the backfields and Roger Dean Stadium 🏟️

Took the trip to Jupiter to see Soto and co take on the Cardinals before he departs for the WBC on Sunday. Stopped at the backfields in St Lucie before and got some cool shots of the guys who hung back.

Lets get into it…

Benge and Soto warmed up together as they formed the 1 - 2 punch for the visiting lineup yesterday. The corner outfielders of our futureeeeee.

On the backfields in the morning Lindor and Semien were coaching Mauricio a bit, turning two, and some other infield drills with Mauricio at shortstop. In the event of Lindor’s abscence to start the season it seems like they’re going to give Mauricio every shot to fill that spot.

Reed Garrett was doing some wind sprints with some cool kicks and decided to play with a slow shutter speed. Got some cool outcomes. The kicks help.

Elian Peña is stateside and in minor league camp. Excited to see this kid this year.
